• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Got your attention now, eh?

All you gotta do is join us at the Wetumpka Airport, Saturday May 5th, with your airplane. Pilots and crew who fly into our happylittle airport gathering will enjoy a free lunch, and our airport sponsor (City of Wetumpka) will sell you fuel at dead cost. Don't know just how cheap that is right now, butfor sure it is a hell of a lot cheaper than you paid at S&F.....and youdon't need to buy no stinking wristband either.

Seriously, the event is acity-sponsored fly-in and open house, with the sole goal of promotingairport support among the area's general public. Wetumpka (08A) is located just north of Montgomery, Alabama. 9-27 is 3000 ft paved, 18-36 is over 2000+ ft grass. The City wants to show off the airport, and to be blunt, your attendance gives thefolks something to look at. It is good to have this sort of city support for a GA/sport airport. Fire up your bird and help us out, and have a good time too.

I'll be the damn fool with the "follow-me" cart. Please say hello!
