• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Guys, while it is great to see you all posting, I did a little housekeeping/post shifting today, soplease note the following:

1. Start anew thread if your post is going to be totally off-topic instead of hitting 'reply' to an existing topic - it don't cost nothing. Very long topics that go off on a tangent are very difficult to navigate when looking for stuff

2. If you have something for sale or a want, put it in the classifieds, not on the tail end of an old topic, this is to your advantage (it's the obvious place where one would go)

3. Name your topic title suitably. Naming atopic obscurely'Skybolt' or 'Pitts'then writing about 'which fabric to use' really needs to be in the Paint /Fabric section and titled accordingly

Why am I going on about this? Answer: Browsing and searching. While your post is currently on 'Latest Posts' it is easily accessible, butit soon gets swallowed into the dark depths of the listings. Many guys will use this resource in the future looking for references and help in these listings, sokeeping things as tidy as we canhelps us all browse and find what we need.
