I have installed a flop tube in my fuel tank for inverted flying. When having a flop tube you can not install a normalelectric sender for the fuel quantity gauge, because the flop tube can be trapped, so you have to use a sight gauge.
Now asight gauge is not a good solution, as itcan be verydifficult to read, so I wonder, if it is the only way. There are some capacitance systems on the market, doing away with the float. Perhapsa possibility, with theprobe placed near to the wall of the tank?
Has anybody tried that or some other means to get rid of that sight gauge ?
