    Hey guys,

since my 0 h engine has been sitting around for nearly 30 years I'd like to overhaul at least the fuel pump.

Are there any kits available? I heard that ACS ended the sale due to problems with customers screwing up the assembly...

Any other parts I should check on the engine?

    Thank you guys!

Then and now automotive in Pennsylvania is great. I used them a lot with my antique sailboat engine fuel pumps, simple delco but I came up with a more modern top to get rid of the glass sediment bowl. They knew what I wanted to do and came up with a top. Sold a lot of them until they ran out. I sent my Lycoming pump to them. Was in the mail to return the same day.they received it. They would not sell me a kit. The screws are only started with a paper attached saying it must be assembled by a qualified AP. It should come up on a search but if you can't find them just post and I will get you a better address. It was about $50.00 plus postage both ways, 3 years ago.

If it is experimental I know Southern Airboat sells them. Even as an A&P I bought an overhauled pump instead of doing it myself because I did not have enough data to rebuild it properly.

Thank you for the great replies! Absolutely what I was looking for.

Guess I'll just inquire a certified company in Germany - and if they're too expensive just buy an overhauled one from ACS. Seems to me to be a too critical part to screw things up.
