Question,

When riveting the stainless steel fuel tank straps around the eye bolt should a different type of rivet be used?? Im thinking for 2 reasons, aluminum rivet in stainless (dissimilar metals) and shear strength of the rivet. Where the strap goes through the eye and folds back on itself with a heavy tank wont it want to shear the rivet ??? What you think??

Thanks, Nick
