The last page of the builders guide shows fuel tank support strap suggested lengths.
Section 17 FUEL SYSTEM in the builders guide refers to two versions of the main tank. So Standard Tank must be the plans empty can design and the Sump Tank must be the more complex, internally baffled design with the aerobatic sump.
I purchased the 29 gallon baffled sump tank from Hale Wallace/Steen Aero Lab many years ago.
The plans show the standard tank installed level or parallel with the top longerons. Using the suggested lengths for support straps makes sense.
If I make my tank straps similar to the suggested lengths for the sump tank, the tank will be lower at the front and not level when the top longerons are level. Is this the correct way to install the sump tank?
