hey gang,
In building up my Pitts S-1-D from parts and I find no stringers in all the stuff I bought. Now the plans show wood stringer from the tail to the rear seat. My fuselage is a little different and it has brackets for stringers going from the tail to the bay where the inst panel is.I heard some have used alum from hardware store for screen doors etc. Anyone have any thought on the matter?I guess wood will work but I don't have any plans except the ones from Steen Aerolab of the S-1-C.
