I'm about 90% done with a Meyer Little Toot, using a fixed pitch Lycoming O-320. I purchased (twice) the "homebuilder" gascolator from AC Spruce, mounted it (using their ss bracket) and took it off. The bowl didn't fit well, the bracket, although ss and nicely bent, was too thin and the whole thing wobbled until the fuel lines held it in place. All in all, unacceptable.
I'm considering going with either the Andair gascolator, or the FAA approved model shown from Spruce. I would be interested in hearing what others are using.
Lastly, as I am concerned about fuel flow.....I'm considering switching from -6 lines to -8. Thoughts on that?
