On an S-2 (S-2B in this case), does anybody know a reference number for the O-ring found on the gascolator/fuel strainer assembly? I called Aviat as it is not listed in the parts manual, and of course they don't sell just the O-ring separate from some filter kit.......

There has been considerable discussion on this here. Do a search for gascolator or gascolator o ring, for a thread here not to long ago.

I have a bunch at the hangar, but don’t remember the size.
You’ll want an MS29513-(size). This is a nitrile oring. Just measure the gascolator groove and cross reference that dimension with the o-ring I.D. In the MS29513 spec. You can find a copy of the spec on: everyspec.com

Keep in mind, the oring groove in the gascolator will be wider than the oring to allow for squeeze. E.g, if the groove is .138 wide, you’ll need a 100 series (.103 dia) oring. If the groove is .180, you’ll need a 200 series (.139 dia) o-ring.
