Congrats! Engine mount sorted and upper wing incidence correct now?

    How does she fly?

I so badly want to build one of these - only lacking in time, money and tools.... ;) Imagination and desire are present in bagfuls, though.

Picture links are not working for us...

I have the same problem "error", and still cannot open photos in the media section. Several of us sent messages concerning this during the initial introduction of this new format, but it was never addressed by the Admin. to my knowledge.

Yup, add me to that list. It's the same problem I've been having since the migration to the new software. Reported to "Forum Suggestions, Announcements and Support" at the time.

Hey guys, Ronnie, AKA Blue & Yellow was finally able to send me pictures of his new ride, the one he has recently got flying. So I sized them and posted them for all to see. Nice looking airplane, actually very nice! Dave N467RR Blue and Yellow small 2.JPG N467RR Blue and Yellow small 1.JPG

Thanks for the help uploading the photos Dave. I have about 12 hours on it now. Flying from 1200' grass strip at my home. It has a C-85 on it and I don't think I would want any less power getting out of here on an 85 degree day with my 200 lbs payload. Ground handling is much better than I expected it to be. Fly it into ground effect at 70 mph then bleed the speed off and it lands nicely in about 600'. I imagine with a 170 lb pilot it would much better since it was designed for that weight in mind.

While on an overnight with my crew in State College, PA, my F/O and I borrowed the FBO curtesy car to see Ron’s former bird. It was all tucked away in the hangar after having a little accident. I took lots of pics, and even sat in inside it for a short moment to daydream. Can’t recall the asking price from the insurance company, but I put in a bid just in case. Glad you scooped it up and got it going again! Sure, I’m a bit envious, but *someone* had to take it home and give it the love and attention it needed. I’m sure the price tag was worth the flying wires, engine, and instruments alone! Congrats!

2nd pic , post 10, what's with the customized landing wire attachment? Angles don't look optimum.

What browser are you using? I need to replicate your set up so I can trouble shoot better.

ETA: Please try now. I found one setting that may have had something to do with the images not showing to you.
