I keep seeing people pop up here from Ontario and I got thinking, there are more biplanes here than most realize.
Is it time we banded together and formed the "Great White North Biplane Association-Ontario Division" or some other group?
2 reasons, fun, and, if we had a list of builder/owners then it would be easier to share knowledge.
I suspect we all have driven past a builder that we didn't know was there, and it would be great to drop in and look at projects.
I'm not really thinking of anything like an association that needs ANY work, and certainly not separate from the BPF, just a list of us that would be open to discussion or visits. ( could note on the list if you don't want either )
I'm at the Midland Airport. There are 2 s2's based here, one is practicing overhead as I type. ( He is very inconsiderate, often practices when I'm trying to work, It's hard to get stuff done when I'm outside watching. )
I have a Starduster Too that I'm importing, hope to have flying before the end of the summer, and a Little Toot that is waiting for it's time to be restored.
Like my friend Red says, " We're all in this together! "
