Here is a tip that I've decided to make Sticky [stays at the top of sub forum lists] because it is significant:
While browsing the harborfreight.com site, I noticed they often have mark-downs. When visiting the local HB store, these mark-downs almost always do not match the website pricing. Example:
These brushes are on sale at $4.99 on the site, but when I went to buy them today locally, they rang up as the list price of $9.99.

So what I have been doing is arming myself with a printed page off the website, show it them at checkout, and they always mark it down to match [they check something on the POS screen, so they must know there is really a sale price for the item]. I have done this around a dozen times now, andprobably saved $200+ this past 18 months...[Isaved $75 using this approach when buying my bandsaw].
