My name is Michial, and I live in Plano, TX (suburb of Dallas). I earned my private pilots license in 1999.
I am at the very beginning of my second build (first was a Volksplane VP1 which I purchased partially built and completed). This time around I have chosen to build a Gere Biplane, and I am building from plans published in the 1933 Flying Manual.
The most frequently asked question about my project is "WHY not build something more popular?" Only answer I have is that I like unique.
Anyway I found my way here because I have loved Biplanes since I was a kid, I have a few dual hours in a Pitts, no solo time. I would LOVE to own a Pitts, but its far from affordable for me.
