So I have about 12 hours on the titan IOX-370 in the Starduster. I have been battling with high CHT’s since the first flight.#3 and #4 were all the way up to 428 on one flight. I have since made new baffles that fit the tapered cylinders tight and everything is sealed up. Set a light in the cowling and the only light is from in between the cylinder fins. On the test flight today # 3 got to 408 and # got to 417. At 2500 rpm cruise both cylinders were over 400 degrees. So I guess I should look at the cowling entrance and exit. I am attaching pictures at the bottom. Any help would be much appreciated.
