Hello everyone,
I am needing to make a completely new engine mount for a one of one biplane. I have built mounts before but always had the old mount as a reference.
In relation to the fuselage, how do I determine the location and angle of the thrust line? (I'm assuming 90 degrees off the firewall for the line itself +/- a little to aid in flight characteristics / p factor)
I have seen references to the horizontal stabilator in some of the plans, is there a rule of thumb of vertical location of the engine in relation to the horizontal stabilator?
