• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Thought you guy might find this cool. This is Max Aero in Hartford Wisconsin building, I think, his 8th set of Howard wings. Max isn’t very tech savvy but I thought it was too cool not to share. If anyone ever dealt with Schuenneman for a one design wing or Pitts or several others, he guy actually building the kit or the completed wing was Max. Truly an artist with wood. It’s been maybe 6 years now that he bought the business for himself and moved everything to the airport. He provides cub and champ spars to WagAero, some stringers and spars to Waco classic and all the model 12 wing kits that everyone loves. Anyhow here’s what’s currently on deck in the shop... .

The CNC machine is absolutely incredible, the precision of the parts coming off as well as all the fixturing really makes for some accurate parts. Way better then the factory would have ever hoped for in my opinion

I took these about 2 weeks ago, I’ll take progress pictures and post more if anyone is interested
