Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hi,
I need to send one of my airspeed indicators out for overhaul or repair. How do shops distinguish between overhaul and repair? (I am assuming the diaphram on this one is ruptured).

Can you recommend a good reasonably priced shop?

I searched online and found overhaul prices ranging from $125 to $275.

I would prefer to fix the one I have since its face matches the other airspeed indicator in the plane.

Thanks,
Glenn
