• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hey guys, I've been lurking for years, and finally got the go ahead to buy a Pitts from the boss! Decided I should introduce myself.

I've dreamed of owning my own Pitts since I was a kid and found a copy of the movie Cloud Dancer at my grandparents house! My wife rolls her eyes at all the bad acting in that movie.......but I've never noticed ;)

I've been fortunate to have been flying since my 16th birthday, mostly bush planes and a bonanza. I've bummed Pitts rides every chance I've gotten for the last 20 years, and got one hour of Pitts time and one hour of extra 300 time in my logbook from Sean Tucker's school that my wife got me for my birthday a few years ago.

Anyway, we are on the hunt for a really nice S2B with a Hartzell Claw and either the traditional scheme or Marion Cole. Not in a big hurry, but ready to buy when the right one comes along.

We live on the Southern Oregon Coast (Bandon) and I am looking forward to getting to know the Pitts community better.

Open to any advice and inside tips on possible -B's for sale.

Brent
