• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum but thought I'd give it a try. I recently moved to Belgium after many years of living in the US. There, I flew a Pitts in Maryland and have been thinking about it ever since. Now, I'm very interested in owning one myself. I'd very much like to hear from someone who has a Pitts for sale or knows where to find one. In particular, and with my (somewhat flexible) budget in mind, I'd like it to be:
1. a Pitts S2-b/c (like to share the experience)
2. N-registered (I'm an FAA CFI/CPL)
3. Low-time engine/prop
4. Great shape inside and out, no or little reconditioning required for the years to come (I have two left hands)
5. Avionics/options are welcome.
It would be great if the Pitts is located in Europe so it doesn't have to be shipped and can be picked up.

Many thanks in advance for the help!
