I recently purchased some Rib Lacing cord from a Superflite dealer. I found it to be about 1/2 the width of the cord I have been used to. So, I went looking and found that all that is available from ACS and Wicks is .080 wide. Both are flat and both are certified but given the high wing loading akro demands, I wonder if the .080 is adequate. Does anyone have any criticisms of the .080 cord? Is the .080 the standard these days?
