I’m building the upper wing center section for the Skybolt Delta wing.
The plans say to cover the leading edge in one full piece of plywood. This wouldn’t allow access to the landing wire mounting hardware. Any opinions as to stopping the plywood one bay short on both ends, thus allowing access to the hardware, and sheeting those two bays at a later time? I would double the thickness of each of the nose ribs in each of those bays to give enough meat to glue the ply to it.
