I know this is not really a Pitts question but many of the older ones have the pressure carbs so I will ask anyway. I have a 160 Lyc with a Bendix Pressure Carb. When I amat cruse power (2300RPM)and lean it, it starts to lose rpm very slightly as soon as come of off full rich. It will probably loose 100 rpm before it starts running rough. Is this normal?
I have had Ellisons and float carbs on aircraft and they would not really lose rpm before running rough. How do you lean these pressure carbs?
