• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Needing some summer time motivation! ( I'm making progress, slow as it seems...hope to have fuselage painted this week! Finally gave up on having someone come to me and blast from the rear seat forward so I'm loading it up and taking it Friday. It will get epoxy primed this weekend then Matterhorn white next week. Then I'm mounting the rebuilt gear. Thanks again Dave! The engine is slowly getting done. I got some super rare sodium filled valves in last week and just need to take them to Tulsa where my new cylinders are getting new hardened seats installed so they can also get installed. Can not wait to get the engine back on. It's coming along great...antique engines are not for the faint of heart, very frustrating finding parts etc but in the end I have a classic!) I'm going to be at the Biplane Expo in KS, hope to meet some other Starduster owners. Anyway just a quick update on mine...lets see some of yours. Project or flyers!
