• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $29.95/year to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Seriously looking for a S2B with low time. Prefer with newer wings/symetrical ailerons and no damage history. Interested in anything worth buying.

My buddy has an 83' model B. Brand new overhauled engine. The fabric is a 4 on the lower wings and an 6 on the fuselage and upper wings. I would recover it just to make the airplane all new. It did have a landing mishap back in 83' It went back to Aviat and they rebuilt the lower wings and what ever else needed at the time. All documented by Aviat. The plane is one of the best B's flying. This is from people who have a lot of time in them. I think he wants around
