• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Well the day is finally here. I'm headed up to pick up my new biplane with my instructor and longtime friend tomorrow morning! My instructor buddy is a great stick and rudder guy and I have no worries this time down this path. I'm looking forward to getting a good checkout and doing a few mods to it like maybe fuel injection (i have a NIB Rotec unit) and rear canopy. Thanks to the old owner as I think we both really got a great deal here...and that can't be said on most deals. I hope Rob sees this so he knows he's welcome to stay biplane current with my instructor anytime. Here is a few pics I took last weekend when I was up getting it ready for the flight home. P.S. don't worry Starduster clan...I'm still actively restoring my Ranger SD2 and hope this helps get me ready for the next step in getting her airborne again!
