Hi there,

Does anybody has informations on the AEIO 390 engine ?

Wilcat aerobatics use one of those engine on an Edge 360 in UK. They say the output is around 240HP. That´s 40 HP extra power compared to the AEIO 360 on my S2A. And you all know that we never have enough power.

The 360 and 390 look very similar from outside. Cylinders are IO540 on the 390. But what about cranckshaft, camshaft and all the rest ?

Can a 360 be turned into a 390 ? Added to cold air induction, electronic firing and a nice two or three blade composite propeller, that would be just nice.
