I finally sat down and figured out all the stuff to make a basic Marquart Charger website. May I present to you:

    http://marquartcharger.org/

It's pretty simple, but it has all the stuff I figured I'd need to launch: plans, specs, articles sorted so they're easier to find, and a few links to external sites (like the Biplane Forum). Most importantly to me, the plans and articles are available without having to join either Yahoo or Facebook, and without having to look up my personal website.

I've been keeping an electronic build log, which I hope to eventually host on this site, but that's still a ways off.

    Enjoy!

Excellent! Every project needs an evangelist (in the technological sense, not the theological... to each his own), in my opinion. The Marquart Charger is safe on that front. ;)

Also: "Ian Johnston's Building a Biplane blog posts - active builder" is an understatement. :D

Thanks, it was good to meet you, too. Not enough progress on my drag strips yet, but schedules do get in the way. ;)

If anyone has thoughts on what might be missing or could be presented better, I'm interested in improving the site. Glenn has already suggested images and videos, and I'll be doing that but it may take a while.

Color! Add a cool Charger pic to the header of that landing page. The first thing a user sees shouldn't be an image of something that looks like a ghost from the days of monochrome. :0)

Agreed. I wish the Charger had a better logo. The knight-on-horse-in-circle logo is pretty inscrutable even when it's big enough to see clearly.
