Is there a link to this and maybe some direction on what all to enter? I’ve looked at some and notice either the Biplane Forum “handle” isn’t listed or the real name isn’t listed, some haven’t included what plane they are building, own or want etc etc.

Just brainstorming to make it the most useful we can. I suggest:

    Name:
    Biplane Forum Handle:
    Location:
    Owned plane type:
    Plane current status:

The map will have showed you a link in a little window, explaining that this was your editing link. If you didn't save that link, you can't edit your entry. If you did, just load up that link. Mine looks similar to this:

    https://www.zeemaps.com/edit/[string of random characters]

Possibly Steve H, who set it up, has some kind of an admin link where he can fix incorrect pins. Worth asking him.

I copied my link to try and edit but it wouldn’t work. Now I’m out of luck.

Well, hopefully Steve can hook us up as the map creator. I tried mine, and it works, but maybe that's just luck.

Looks like Steve is the creator and map administrator, You could ask him to delete your pin, and then you can go make a new one, and save your new log in link. I copied my log in link, then forgot to save it, oh well, my info is ok for now.

Are you all going to fly and visit each other? What a neat idea. A spring get together?

Angie can you put a link to the map above the newest threads on the right side?

    Hi guys.
I just got back to where I can use the internet, sorry about the delay.

I can delete duplicate/incorrect entries on the map. If you mess up, just enter a correct one and then PM me and I'll remove the one you don't want to keep.

I'm sure not a computer nut, so if some of you figure out another way to edit, let us know.
I think Ian is pretty sharp on this sort of thing, so maybe he can find a easy way to edit, but I am glad to do it for you.

    Take care.

Steve, I think the best way forward, if you don't want to be the map administrator to fix occasional problems, is for you to share the owner's link (assuming you don't have to log in to administer the map) with the forum admins. If you do have to log in to make changes to the map, it may be that others can log in too, and can have map ownership assigned over to them. But if you don't mind being the map admin for now, no changes are needed.

    Ian,

I'm good with the admin job. I do have to log in to do the admin stuff.

As long as I don't kick the bucket, we should be ok!!!
