    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Just down at the ice rink having a chat with one of the Zamboni drivers. He knew I flew biplanes and mentioned his brother has their Dads old Meyers OTW in pieces down outside of Detroit. I tried not to get too fired up but asked some strategic questions. All he could tell me was that it had a nice round engine and it hadn't flown since "Dad had a hard landing" in the 50's. I'm going to ask if I can go downstate to see it and I may try and do a Pickers maneuver.
