Here is the eBay ad: 1996 Stewart Stevenson M1078 Truck w M1061 Trailer | eBay

I've had the truck for just over a year, and it has been a load of fun... but it's time to sell and find something even more impractical.

It has a lot more power than my Unimog had, but it is so damn big that it won't fit in some places the Mog would go. Gravel roads like this are about the limit of "off-roading" unless you are willing to beat it up on limbs.

Also good for a stop at the pub.

It has troop seating for 12 in the back, is rated to haul 2.5 tons, and can carry surface-to-air missiles.

There are more photos and a much longer description in the eBay ad.

This show did an episode about them.

If the set does not sell complete, I may decide to sell the truck and trailer separate. That will make it more affordable.

I had a lead on some dummy Rapier missiles and thought about making some launch rails for them in the bed of the truck..... but I decided that I'm really lazy, and the project would never get finished.

HA! ;) I can see lots of very interested police, military security, and a ton of squad cars clustered around that load before you got 20 miles down the road!!
