Can any of you Eagle types out there ID this? It's in a stash of Eagle parts my friend and former Eagle owner/builder has on his shelves. It has some part numbers on it but I was only able to determine what one of those refers to -- "30427-501" is the newer fuel filler that relocates it to the front of the tank. But this obviously isn't that.

The snaps seem to indicate it may be an exterior cover, a canopy cover perhaps or the bag for that cover? Once we figure out what it is it will be available for sale. We'd would rather not open the packaging if we don't have to. BTW, there are other bits and pieces on those shelves too but this one caught our attention.

    Any ideas??

See below. They may have revised the bag at some point, and changed its part number.

Wasn't there a search on for one of these that went missing at Oshkosh last year? I don't remember the details but I think one was found. I have no idea what this is worth. I'll need to list it with a price......

Yeah. I had borrowed one and it went missing at Osh. I ended up buying a used replacement. I was more desperate than most buyers because I was looking to replace a borrowed item. I gave $225 for it.

If it belonged to me I'd be up for that. My friend could use some extra cash these days and I think all those spares he has from his Eagle days will help him out a lot. I'll be getting any of the Pitts-common parts but there's quite a bit of Eagle specific stuff that needs to become cash also.

    Thanks guys.

To be honest, I'm not too interested in the Canopy cover...I doubt that I'd use it. They aren't water proof.

But, I'm curious as to what else he's got.

It's a small package, probably much smaller than a fully water-proof cover would be able to fit in. Maybe it's meant only as a traveling sun and dust cover that doesn't hog the limited T-deck space.

Speaking of Eagle parts, does anyone have an Eagle gas tank that they would sell. Yes I have checked with Davis Aero Parts, and I was looking for something cheaper.
    Thanks

I'd be interested in this cover when it's time to sell it.

Also interested in what other Eagle stuff is available.

I'll try to post an ad for this in the classifieds today. The rest of the parts will need to be inventoried before we can offer those. Thanks.

If he had a set I'd want them to fit my S-2A (which they probably wouldn't because the Eagle has a slightly different wing setup). I'll have to make a set for my airplane and install them after the airplane has been moved to Experimental/Exhibition.
