In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Does anyone have a section drawing of where the outer flying wire(s) are attached to the upper wing? I am having the covering on both top and bottom wing repaired and the A&P does not like the way the flying wires are attached to the top wing and would like to see a print of the area.

My plane was built in 1986 by (Jim Jackson) N6XL, I don't know if the design was changed from that time or not? I did not get a set of drawings when I purchased my AS-II and the building info that I did receive does not help for this area.

Will it help me to purchase a set of plans for a AS-II? Or can the original plans used when my plane was built be found somewhere?
Thanks
Don
