• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hello All, Just signed up today after searching for info on biplanes and I was amazed of the amount of people and vast knowledge on this board. Recently I was at an auction where they were selling everything in a museum from covered wagons, cannons to aspace suit from the Apollo mission. In the auction was a 1975 jungster VI biplane and I kept going back to it all day looking it over and when they got to it to sell, I ended being the high bidder and bought it. I was really excited (the wife, not so much) but when I got it home and removed the motor cover a friend of mine said that the magnetos were gone. I did some checking with the owners of museum and auction people and was told they were probably removed so asnot being able to start itin the museum. It has a 250 lycoming engine and I don't have a clue where to start looking for parts. The plane has less than 200 hrs on it.
