I have purchased a Skybolt nose bowl from Steen and want to build the FF sheet metal. Problem: I do not have a prop & spinner yet and will probably not have those funds pulled together for some time, but I still want to build the cowl and finish construction and final finishing of the airplane.
Question: Can someone tell me what the setback from the rear of the prop flange to the front of the nosebowl should be? To have the right amount of clearance between the spinner and the nosebowl?
Or, possibly a measurement from the top node of the engine block forward to the front of the nosebowl?
Any help or insight would be appreciated.
