Evening all from the UK. A question about nuts.

We're putting the wings back on our Starduster having completed the, somewhat delayed. rebuild following a ground loop and we're confused about nuts ?
When we took it apart all of the bolts holding the bottom wings to the fuselage and the top wings to the cabane section were fitted with castellated nuts with split pins.
All of the bolts securing the interplane struts to the top and bottom wings (including the bottom rear studs) were fitted with self locking (Nyloc) nuts.

The drawings that we have are very faded and difficult to read but seem to suggest that the whole lot - wing attachments and interplane attachments - should be castellated with split pins.
Looking at another UK Starduster the interplane nuts are Nylocs but we can't see the wing attachments because they are under trim plates. We also have pictures from an accident report in the UK several years ago showing Nylocs on the wing attachments.

All in all rather confusing ! Anyone have chapter and verse on this please ?
