Hi folks,
just checking in. Two of us just picked up a project to finish. We purchasedN328SF, no C-FUKR, no wait, N757BH! Yeah, that‘s it! Well, for now. Planning to assign it N306HE before we paint it. Brad started on it last year, wings are recovered and painted, fuselage frame is blasted and painted, lots of new pieces and parts. Just brought it home on Friday (August 27, 2021) so still unloading, organizing, and storing parts. Current plan is to put it back together pretty much as it was when Stan Fitz built it. we have the engine, prop, spinner, etc. along with the airframe. If anybody knows details about this airplane we are all ears. Currently spending time reading the plans, Starduster History, and the Starduster Technical Tips that came with it, along with this forum.
We both still work for a living and have kids so hoping to have it flying for the 2023 fly-in season.
