• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I've made a few videos you might have seen about getting my S-1E airborne again. The constant speed prop was found to have cracks in it so the prop was discarded. I bought a S-1D that I'm flying now.

My intention is to completely restore the E model, but being half way through building a Zenith CH-750 Super Duty, I think it will be a while before I get to the Pitts.

So, I'm thinking about selling it. I sort of don't want to sell it because I'd LOVE to restore it, but I also know it's going to sit here for a few years before I ever get to it.

I'll attach a pic of the airplane, but it's current condition is that it has no prop, and the wings are removed for storage. Here is a link to the Pitts videos on my "Kitplane Enthusiast" YouTube channel.

Just throwing this out there to see if it's worth trying to sell the E model. If interested, send me an e-mail at [email protected]

Thanks
