We recently had a problem with the bungee gear of or S1. I replaced the bungees about 6 months ago with 1380 HD because the gear was very wobbly with the old bungees which were about 6-7 years old. With the new bungees the gear was very stiff at first but it didnt took long until it went softer again. Two weeks ago when my mate was flying the gear got very soft on landing and the safety cable on the left side broke ! Luckily the bungees didnt break and so the wing didnt hit the ground but was only a few centimeter above the ground ... After checking the bungees we saw that they slipped outwards on the gearleg tube. Has anybody saw something like this before ?
I guess the gear has a good amount of toe out because after landing the gear allways was pushed out a good amount and when pushing the plane backwards the gear went back again... I while check that later. The gear should have zero toe, right ?
