• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

My Pitts was damaged in a dead-stick landing last Jan. The wings are GONE. The only fuselage damage was to the vertical fin and the right gear attach fitting. It had standard gear but I do have a Grove spring gear I was going to put on. The Horz Stabs and elevators are totally intact along with the tail wires/fittings. Some of the flying wires are still airworthy. Turtledeck is fine. It comes with a radio and transponder. The bubble/sliding canopy has no damage, I have wheels but no brakes. Wobble pump. Ratcheting seat belts. Most of the forward sheet metal is still intact and usable the rest can be used for templates. The fuel tank could use a new flop tube. I have pictures but don't know how to move them from my I-Pad to here.. I am asking only $1500 for her. This is a GREAT start for someone wanting a Pitts project.. I am selling my house/shop and moving into a motorhome (I am now retired) and doing some traveling. My loss is your gain. Come and get her.
