• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Gents,
Long story short, I recently had an "incident" in my Pitts and I ended up upside down in the grass. I was fairly slow and at idle when the right brake shuttered and grabbed causing me to head to the ditch and in the process of try to regain control with the left brake ended up in the soft ground and upside down. The plane sustained damage to the top left wing tip, vertical stab in back, and prop. It WILL require a full tear down and rebuild. I don't have time to do it with my job and will sell it and look for something else. It has an O-320 with inverted oil and gas and sparcraft wings. I also have a 1946 Cessna 140 for sale if interested. I will entertain offers for both. I will take the wings off and have it ready for transport. I live in Granbury TX at 66TE (Landings Airpark). Please give me a call at 817-559-3950 and I'll answer your questions or PM me here.
Thanks,
Don
Rogers
