• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $29.95/year to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

This airplane raced Reno in the late 80s as *Doo-Dah*. Prop is still pitched for speed. Flies great! Nice and straight and lands easy for an S1 (good gear geometry).
Paint and fabric in nice shape. Oil analysis comes back clean. Log books reconstructed as originals were lost. Hate to sell but life circumstances require that I do...
Figured I’d post it here on Biplane forum first to see if there’s any interest.
Can arrange delivery
Annual until the end of this year.

I'm in love.

But alas we have been married, happily I'd say, for 46 years and I'd rather stick with Marcia.:D She doesn't even smile when I joke about another Pitts...

".....Hate to sell but life circumstances require that I do..." I recall saying exactly the same thing close to 40 years ago.

I always buy what I need (want) then worry about forgiveness later.

Thats a nice looking Pitts. Another one for the cost of flying wires and engine.
