• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. I would like to see what Aerotek S1 # 33 looks like now. I did a lot of modifications on it in the '80's for Harry Hays when he was an alternate for the US aerobatic Team. Harry bought the airplane new from the factory.

The
aircraft was recovered in 10/31/04. The right wing was replaced due to a
ground loop. The right wing was built in a wing jig from Stean Aero. I
sent in the ribs to be copied and built in there wood shop. All the wood
was replaced with there wing kit. The right wing was built and covered
on 9/29/11. This is the only damage history on the aircraft. In 1979 the
aircraft was changed to experimental class due the large rudder.

IO-320-D2A installed 12/9/1983 (160 HP) Compressions 74/80, 74/80, 73/80, 76/80

I lowered the price to 24,000 and removed the canopy and wheel pants from the sell.

Nice airplane! Is the canopy for sale separately?

I was going to sell the canopy off of my S1S project with this plane but I lowered the price and I decided to keep them for my project

It is as far as I know. I'll text Kevin and tell him to check the forum.

Don't worry about it, in the time waiting for a reply I have already purchased a S1S for the same price with a good 360.
