Hello, I have an Experimental S1S that has some apparent top wing damage possibly. I am not the original builder, and I have never built a Pitts, but I have just a slight under wing buckling between the forward and rear cabane struts. I want to inspect and fix whatever is going on there, but before I cut into the fabric, can anyone who has built Pitts wings tell me if this is in fact just plywood covering the center section and not structural.. It seems to be an aluminum leading edge, but then transitions to wood a few inches back. Any pictures that someone has before they covered their wings would be greatly appreciated.. I did look at quite e few pics on the forum, but just didn't see any from the underside view.. Thank you,
G
