Just wanted to share a new grip I got for my Pitts. I cut my teeth up in the bush flying floats, wheels and ski’s. I occasionally cheat on the biplane forum and follow some of the STOL homebuilt watering holes such as the Bearhawk forum. I stumbled upon plane grips. I have ZERO affiliation with the company and I get ZERO kickback for recommending them. I also haven’t officially tested it yet. Just a happy customer so far.
I’ve been looking for a stick grip that I could customize without breaking the bank. My biggest concern was having to drill a hole in the control stick. Plane grips built me a custom stick with the wiring rigged outside so I woulnd’t have to cut a hole in my control stick. You can pretty much choose any button(s) options or colour you want. I kept mine simple with one button, knurled grip and palm stop. Dave the owner would return my emails ASAP. Pretty affordable. Anyways just thought I’d share.
