Hey guys,

I'm about to cover my Ultimate wings. Surfaces are as good as possible, used EV400 as per Randolph / Ceconite manual and per hints of Kevin Kimball - all surfaces covered and sanded with 150 grit. Thanks for those hints in the other thread I found!

I'd like to cover the wings with one piece of Ceconite, beginning from the rear spar, wrapped around the leading edge to the rear spar again, so no seam on the leading edge. Do I have to pre-coat the plywood leading edge with nitrate dope or is it enought to just let it soak through? Of course I'll tack the Ceconite to the rear spar, wing roots and wing tips etc with New Super Seam, but should I pre-coat the big plywood surfaces or not?

Any concerns about using one big piece of ceconite while covering?

Thank you for your help!
