Does it have counterweighted blades for moving blades to course pitch when losses of oil pressure encountered in aerobatics?

I'm not 100% sure, but if its not a mtv9 I don't think it's counter weighted. I don't think they would run a 9 on an rv10.
Should have the model # on the prop.

MTV-12-B/193-53

Hi Mike

Thanks for your email. I can confirm that this is the correct prop for an RV-10 and is not counterweighted. This means that it is not suitable for aerobatics. I agree the price is a little high given that is has no spinner (approx $1,350.00) and no Governor. The fact that it was overhauled recently is certainly a plus. I will need the Serial Number of the prop to confirm details on this. Regarding Governors – yes we have a governor for all our props at $1,680.00.

The bottom line here seems to be that this is not a suitable prop for your Skybolt because it is a non-aerobatic prop. For a Skybolt and IO-540, we would recommend our larger, more robust MTV-9-B-C. The “C” in the designation shows counterweights.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Many thanks
