So ive been making a 9 cylinder radial engine in CAD. I have a problem with valves opening during the correct stroke. Ive got it down to two cylinders that are 160 degrees apart are timed correctly without any interference.

But the cylinder next to each of the ones that is working is completely off. See diagram below for explanation.

So A and B are timed correctly.
D: Exhuast and intake happen too early. Piston hasnt hit TDC yet and intake is opening, exhaust starts to open before getting to BDC
C: exhaust and intake happen too early

More about the model.. Camshaft rotates the same direction as the crank. 8:1 reduction. There are 4 lobes each (90 degree separation) for intake and exhaust. there is 33 degrees of separation on the cam between adjacent lobes. I havent tried playing with the shape of the lobes at all.

Shots of the Cam

Any ideas would be appreciated
