I started drawing the raven 2xs in solidworks, my first impressions are the best in respect of an aircraft, very good and detailed plan, I will post here the step by step of the project, hope you like it.

started today in the morning to work on the side format raven 2xs are plates aluminion 5052 0.05. I did everything with the use plating on solidworks.[/COLOR] (comecei hoje pela manha a trabalhar no formato lateral do raven 2xs, são chapas de aluminion 5052 0.05. fiz tudo com o recurso chaparia no solidworks.)

each profile has to be working one on one in the place where had been in the aircraft structure, the work is tiring and boring, but that's the only way to reach the end result is perfection. every drawing you will discover new things, I'm super excited about this new challenge !! The attention to the profile, he has a different design from the others.cada perfil tem que ser trabalhando um a um no local onde ficara na estrutura da aeronave, o trabalho é cansativo e chato, mas essa é a unica maneira de chegar no resultado final é perfeição. a cada desenho voce ira descobrindo coisas novas, estou super empolgado com esse novo desafio!! atenção para o perfil A, ele tem um desenho diferente do outros.

after I finished one side is so mirror the pieces to the other side of the fuselage, attention in time to reflect, because it has an option that has to be marked so that the piece appears as mirrored form (opposite) is then only check for errors and go to the next step will be the formers botton. depois que terminei um lado é so espelhar as peças para o outro lado da fuselagem , atençaõ na hora de espelhar, porque tem uma opçao que tem que ser marcada para que a peça apareça da forma espelhada(oposto) depois é so verificar se existem erros e partir para a proxima etapa que vai ser os botton formers.

after a day enteiro tiring work, I finished the formers botton. I will proceed to page 4 of the raven plant 2xs, I am highly excited about this plant for its quality of details, very cool. the botton formers must be set in place, the same as the side formers requires close attention to detail and a little knowledge on solidworks. depois de um dia enteiro de trabalho cansativo, terminei os botton formers. prosseguirei para a pagina 4 da planta do raven 2xs, estou altamente empolgado com essa planta pela sua qualidade de detalhes, muito legal. os botton formers tem que ser regulado no local, igual aos side formers, requer bastante atenção aos detalhes e um pouco de conhecimento no solidworks.

installed wire tail butterfly, confuses me a bit with the plant, it does not indicate the center of the holes and the radius of the outer edge of the plate, but I managed. to make the piece used the feature sheet metallic in order to make the folds later.
instalei o tail wire butterfly, me confunde um pouco com a planta, ela não indica o centro dos furos e o raio da borda externa da chapa, mas consegui. para fazer a peça usei o recurso chapa metalica para poder fazer as dobras posteriormente.

Thanks for posting those images. I was particularly interested in the trim system parts. I have spent a lot of SWx time on my S-1 project eliminating the the fit of the bolt holes as a source of slop in the trim tabs. Your trim arm is certainly simpler to build that the one from the S-2/S-1-11/M-12 which is what mine is based on so I may take another look at what I'm planning to do there.

Are your front lower wing fittings done to the 2XS drawings -- are they the same as the rear fittings? I built mine that way but have since decided to make them more like the original design so I will be replacing them (Arghhh!).

Thank sr.cwilliamrose, you are a great designer. I hope my drawings can help you in some way, always try to follow the plan strictly speaking, that the plane raven 2xs plant is formidable, well detailed, the only problem is that there are many pictures on the internet builders, never got near acrobatic plane in my life. I will updating every novelty, I'm anxious to get on the wings.
