Hey guys... just a short question.
On our S-1 we have some springs on the rudder pedals. These springs came with the project and I always had the feeling, that the springs are too strong, so they have influence on the rudder feeling.
On one of the last flights the right spring broke and I noticed some difference in flight.
For an easy and fast fix I just removed the other spring.
If I understand it correct, those springs have two reasons: keeping a bit of tension on the rudder cables without a Pilot inside and to keep the pedals from falling backwards? From what I saw now, the pedals have no big tendency to fall backwards, so I see no real reason to add some new springs?! Did I miss something that could cause problems in future?
