• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $29.95/year to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

These wings were made from an Aviat kit, with same attach points as any other stock Pitts. I bought them from a longtime Pitts-builder and fellow Reno air racer. He had them on the Pitts you see in the pics below while he was finishing the construction of another set of ribs for that plane. I bought them right after he removed them from the plane shown below.

Full-length span.

I originally bought this set of wings for my currently-flying Pitts to use for a wing-clipping project (Reno racer) but decided to leave my racer as-is.

These wings were recently on another Pitts project flying around while it’s original wings were being rebuilt.

My cell number is 615-604-8557 or email me at [email protected]

thanks,
Sam Swift
